Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has announced the release of a new music video titled ‘Tumhe Dillagi’ from his upcoming film Raid 2. The actor shared the news through his Instagram account, noting that the video would be available at 11:00 AM today.
In his post, Ajay wrote, “For a love that only grows stronger ❤️🎶” while promoting the song. The accompanying image shows what appears to be a romantic still from the music video, highlighting the emotional theme of the track.
Raid 2 Returns With Musical Momentum
The announcement comes as part of the promotional campaign for Raid 2, which is scheduled to release in theaters on May 1, 2025. This sequel follows the success of the original Raid film, which was released in 2018 and featured Ajay Devgn as an honest Income Tax officer conducting a raid on a powerful businessman.
Notably, just days before this announcement, Ajay had shared the audio version of ‘Tumhe Dillagi’ with the caption, “Dil ki baat ek nayi dhun ke saath! 🎶♥️” The audio release laid the groundwork for today’s music video launch.
The film’s musical promotions appear to be in full swing, as the actor recently also announced another song titled ‘Kamle’ from the same film, which was released with the tagline “Hawaon mein ghulenge ishq ke rang with #Kamle!” Earlier, the film team had also released a song called ‘Nasha.’
Star-Studded Sequel
Raid 2 features an impressive ensemble cast alongside Ajay Devgn, including Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Satyadeep Mishra, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the original Raid, and is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of T-Series and Panorama Studios.
The trailer for Raid 2 was released earlier this month, with Ajay sharing it on social media with the caption: “Ek taraf satta, dusri taraf sach – Yeh RAID ab aur badi ho chuki hai.” The trailer sets up the premise of a dedicated tax officer going after black money, with the tagline: “Chhupaya ho ya churaya ho, iss RAID mein hoga black money ke pai-pai ka hisab.”
Ajay Devgn’s Busy 2025 Lineup
Raid 2 is just one of several projects Ajay Devgn has lined up for release. The actor recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his sports drama ‘Maidaan,’ reflecting that “some roles really do stay with you.”
Devgn is currently working on ‘Dhamaal 4,’ another sequel in a popular comedy franchise. He recently shared updates about the film’s production, revealing that the Malshej Ghat schedule had wrapped up and the Mumbai schedule was underway. The comedy features an ensemble cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Javed Jaffrey.
