Ajay Devgn has unveiled the latest song, “Nasha Hi Nasha Hoga” from the much-anticipated film Raid 2. The foot-tapping number, released today across major streaming platforms, features Tamannaah Bhatia in a glamorous avatar. The actor captioned the short video with ‘Ab sirf #Nasha hi nasha hoga, on 🔁! Song out now. Link in bio. #Raid2 in cinemas 1st May, 2025. Tamannaah and Ajay Devgn will not appear together in this song. However, they are already working on another film, Ranger, directed by Jagan Shakti. This project marks their second collaboration after Himmatwala (2013).
‘Raid 2’ is the sequel to the 2018 hit film ‘Raid’, which was based on a real-life income tax raid conducted in the 1980s. The new installment continues the story of fearless Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik (played by Devgn) as he takes on another powerful tax evader in what promises to be one of the biggest financial crimes in Indian history.
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, who also helmed the first film, ‘Raid 2’ stars Ajay Devgn reprising his role as the honest and determined IRS officer. Joining him are Vaani Kapoor as the female lead and Riteish Deshmukh as the antagonist, a powerful businessman with political connections.
Raid 2 is scheduled for release on 1 May, 2025, and with the buzz surrounding “Nasha,” anticipation for the film continues to build. The film’s trailer, released a few week ago has already crossed 26 million views on YouTube, indicating strong audience interest in the sequel.
