Television actor Aniruddh Dave recently expressed his gratitude after receiving recognition from the Uttar Pradesh Police for his portrayal of police officers in two popular shows – ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ and ‘Patiala Babes’. The actor took to Instagram to share his emotional response to the appreciation he received for his work.
In his Instagram caption, written in Hindi and English, Aniruddh penned a touching tribute to the police force: “वर्दी वाला प्यार और आभार 🙏 उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस निःस्वार्थ सेवा, अदम्य साहस और अनुशासन का प्रतीक है।” (Uniform-clad love and gratitude. Uttar Pradesh Police is a symbol of selfless service, indomitable courage, and discipline.)
He further elaborated on how the police work tirelessly day and night to fulfill their duties and instill a sense of security and trust among citizens. The actor noted that this dedication has transformed the state, with people saying, “UP is not like before; discipline has been established now.”
What stands out most in Dave’s post is his humble acknowledgment of the difference between his on-screen persona and the real-life heroes in uniform. He wrote: “सर हम अभिनेता रियल नहीं हैं, आप रियल हीरो है।” (Sir, we actors are not real; you are the real heroes.)
