Anupam Kher Reveals All-Star Singer Lineup For ‘Tanvi The Great’

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has unveiled an impressive lineup of singers for his upcoming directorial venture ‘Tanvi The Great,’ revealing a blend of established vocal talents and promising newcomers who have contributed to the film’s soundtrack.
In an announcement shared on Instagram, Kher revealed that he spent nearly a year working with Oscar and Golden Globe-winning composer MM Keeravani to record all the songs for the film before shooting it. “With the magic of Keeravani sir, we have the most melodious music for Tanvi The Great,” Kher wrote in his post.
The musical roster features an impressive mix of celebrated veterans and fresh voices. Legendary playback singers Sonu Nigam and Shaan, whom Kher describes as “personal friends apart from being great legendary singers,” headline the vocal talent. Popular singer Vishal Mishra, whom Kher calls a “sensational singer,” is also part of the lineup.
The soundtrack also introduces several emerging artists to audiences. Kher mentioned that singers Ramya Behara and Nayana Nair are “on the rise in the music world,” while Shagun Sodhi and Gomathi Iyer are debuting with ‘Tanvi The Great.’
Adding international flavor to the project, Kher revealed that Los Angeles-based artists Shannon and Dirty Grim have performed an English track for the film. The album also features a “special singer” named Kumudwathi Aparajitha and includes a “soulful song” by MM Keeravani. The lyrics for the soundtrack have been penned by Kausar Munir, whom Kher describes as “brilliant.”
‘Tanvi The Great’ marks Kher’s return to direction after a 23-year hiatus. The film appears to be deeply personal for Kher, who has been regularly sharing glimpses of the production process with his followers. In one post, he mentioned, “I’ll keep telling you stories, anecdotes, and tales related to Tanvi until the film’s release! Don’t get irritated! This is both marketing and love!”
As Kher puts it in his Instagram announcement about the film’s music, “My heart and soul – both are singing! Waiting for the world to listen to these unbelievable voices!” The release date for ‘Tanvi The Great’ has not yet been announced, but the film is clearly a passion project for the veteran actor-turned-director.
