Bollywood actor and critic Kamaal R. Khan has reached out on social media seeking to provide financial assistance to the family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who lost his life while attempting to disarm terrorists during an attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Tuesday, KRK, as he is popularly known, detailed the heroic actions of Shah, a local horse rider and the sole breadwinner of his family.

Khan wrote, “Syed Adil Hussain Shah died a hero. On Tuesday, when terrorists opened fire in the serene town of Pahalgam, the young horse rider and sole breadwinner of his family didn’t run away. Instead, he stepped in and tried to disarm the attackers. In doing so, he laid down his life.”
The Instagram image shared by Khan shows what appears to be a photograph of Shah, a young man who made the ultimate sacrifice in the face of terror.

In his post, Khan specifically requested the assistance of ANI (Asian News International). “Adil’s bravery in the face of terror came at the ultimate cost. His selfless act has left behind his elderly parents, wife and children! I request to @ANI to provide me his father’s phone number, So that I can help him. RIP all the martyrs,” wrote Khan. The post concluded with Khan paying respects to all those who lost their lives in the attack.
