Actor Mohanlal has shared a new poster for his upcoming film ‘Thudarum’, set to release on 25 April, generating significant buzz among fans and film enthusiasts alike.
The veteran actor took to Instagram to share the latest promotional material with a cryptic caption: “Posters may come and go… but here’s one you can actually trust 😄.” The post includes the hashtag #ThudarumOnApril25, confirming the theatrical release date.
The poster captures a heartwarming moment as Mohanlal’s character, Shanmugham, and Shobana’s character, Lalitha, share a conversation in a saree shop. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, known for Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka, Thudarum is a Malayalam-language crime drama that delves into the life of Shanmugham, a taxi driver, exploring themes of life, relationships, and resilience. The film marks the reunion of Mohanlal and Shobana on screen after a long time.
The ensemble cast includes Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew, Krishna Praba, Prakash Varma, and Aravind in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with cinematography by Shaji Kumar, and editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf and Shafeeque VB.
