Randeep Hooda recently marked the success of his latest film Jaat by visiting his native village in Rohtak, Haryana, coinciding with both International Jat Day and the Baisakhi festival. The actor, who plays the role of Ranatunga in the film, made a surprise appearance at a local theater where the film was being screened. He was warmly greeted by a large crowd of fans, further celebrating his connection to the Jat community and his proud roots.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Hooda shared a photo of himself with fellow community members. His caption read: “On #InternationalJatDay went to the Heart of Jaat Land and my ancestral town Rohtak, my brother, director and now honorary Jaat @dongopichand joined me and had some delicious home cooked Haryanvi Food and Choorma at my Kaka’s house and what better way than to see packed screens for #Jaat with audiences showering so much of love along with seetis and taalis 🤗🤗💪💪🙌🏽🙌🏽”

Along with his personal celebrations, Randeep Hooda continues to shine in his role in Jaat. The film, directed by Gopichand Malineni, sees Hooda opposite Sunny Deol, who plays the powerful lead role of Baldev Pratap Singh. Hooda’s portrayal of Ranatunga, a corrupt landowner, has been widely praised for its intensity and depth. His character’s conflict with Deol’s sets the stage for a gripping narrative.

The film has made a strong impact at the box office, crossing ₹50 crore globally within its opening week, solidifying its success. In a recent interaction, Hooda expressed gratitude for the overwhelming positive response, saying, “Playing such a menacing character and still being embraced with so much appreciation has been truly humbling.”

Randeep’s visit to his village during such an important cultural moment not only celebrates the success of Jaat but also reflects his deep connection to his heritage. His Instagram post and his heartfelt appearance in Rohtak resonate with his ongoing commitment to represent the Jat community through both his personal and professional life. This moment was a tribute to the unity and strength of the Jat community, and Hooda’s message continues to inspire those around him.
