Veteran actor Rohit Roy has embarked on a fitness journey with a focus on rehabilitation and proper form. The “Swabhimaan” star took to Instagram to share the beginning of his ankle rehab program, crediting his friend and storyteller Gattu Kapoor for inspiring him to correct his workout technique.
In his Instagram post, Roy revealed that he has reduced his workout weights by one-third to ensure proper form during his recovery. The image shows the actor in what appears to be a gym setting, presumably demonstrating the corrected exercise form he mentions in his caption.
THE FRIENDSHIP BEHIND THE FITNESS JOURNEY
The actor expressed profound gratitude toward Gattu Kapoor in his post, writing: “A dude who’s a valued friend (who’s looked out for me on more than one occasion) and someone who I respect immensely as a story teller is now inspiring me to correct the minor mistakes I used to make in the gym but could have major implications!!”
Rohit further elaborated on how Kapoor’s content has been instrumental in his fitness approach: “I watch his videos and get inspired to CORRECT MY FORM! So today is Day 1 of my ankle rehab and I have lowered the weight by 1/3rd but tried to stick to correct form! Thanks my bro @gattukapoor! Keep going!”
Rohit Roy rose to fame with his role as Rishabh Malhotra in the popular television series “Swabhimaan” which aired on Doordarshan in 1995.
Beyond television, Roy has made his mark in films like “Shootout at Lokhandwala” and “Kaabil.” He considers his performances as Fattu in “Shootout at Lokhandwala” and Captain Nawaz in “Verses of War” among his best work on celluloid.
Roy’s current focus on ankle rehabilitation demonstrates his commitment to health and fitness even while maintaining a busy professional schedule across various entertainment platforms. His openness about the rehabilitation process and the importance of proper form could serve as motivation for fans facing similar fitness challenges.
