In a candid SCREEN exclusive interview, actress and singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi reflected on the stark contrast between her own humble beginnings in the entertainment industry and the relatively privileged position her daughter Kaveri Kapur enjoys today.
“I came from nowhere when I started…,” Krishnamoorthi revealed in the interview clip shared on SCREEN’s Instagram. The multifaceted artist emphasized how the industry landscape has transformed significantly since her early days, becoming much more organized and offering wider opportunities for emerging talents.
Krishnamoorthi, who gained prominence in the 1990s with her role in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa” and through her music career, acknowledged the advantages her daughter has by virtue of being born to industry parents.
