Popular actress Amruta Khanvilkar has begun her Japanese adventure, taking to Instagram to share glimpses from the first day of her trip. The actress, known for her work in Marathi cinema and television, posted photos from her visit to Asakusa Temple and TeamLab Planets in Tokyo.

Khanvilkar’s first stop was the historic Asakusa (Sensō-ji) Temple, one of Tokyo’s most significant and oldest Buddhist temples. Dating back to 645 CE, the temple is a major cultural landmark in Japan’s capital city. In her Instagram post, she shared images of herself at the iconic temple, capturing both the architectural beauty and spiritual atmosphere of the location.

Following her cultural visit, the actress made her way to TeamLab Planets, an immersive digital art museum in Tokyo. Khanvilkar described the experience as “truly immersive” and called it a “must-visit” attraction. TeamLab Planets is known for its interactive digital art installations where visitors can physically engage with the artwork, walking through water, touching flowers, and experiencing art that responds to human presence.

Amruta Khanvilkar has established herself as a versatile performer in the Indian entertainment industry. She began her career with the Marathi film “Golmaal” and gained wider recognition after participating in reality shows like “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi” and “Nach Baliye.”

The film features an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal and Zakir Hussain alongside Khanvilkar. Her proud caption read, “I am absolutely thrilled to share that our film ‘The Taj Story’ has won the Best Film Award in the International Film category at the prestigious House of Common in London!”
