Bollywood actress and former Miss India Celina Jaitly has shared a heartfelt tribute to Pope Francis on her Instagram account, honoring his legacy of compassion and inclusivity.

In her emotional post, Jaitly shared an image of Pope Francis with a caption that praised his impact as both a spiritual leader and “a beacon of hope and humanity.” The actress highlighted how the Pope’s love transcended boundaries of “race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.”

In her tribute, Celina wrote: “Pope Francis will be remembered not just as a spiritual leader, but as a beacon of hope and humanity. His heart knew no boundaries — he extended love to all, regardless of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.”

She emphasized the Pope’s firm stance on human dignity and his outreach to marginalized communities: “He stood firm in his belief that every human being deserves dignity and respect. He called for an end to religious persecution and reached out with compassion to those often pushed to the margins — from sexual minorities to migrants seeking safety and a future.”

The actress also highlighted his advocacy for peace: “With unwavering courage, he spoke against war and violence, urging the world to choose peace, dialogue, and unity over division and hate. His kindness was a light in dark times, his voice a call for empathy and justice.”

The tribute comes during what appears to be a busy period for the actress, who has recently been active in Bahrain. Just days before this post, Jaitly served as the chief guest and main speaker at the 5th Annual ICAI Bahrain Women’s Conference, where she focused on women’s empowerment.
