Dia Mirza Shares Throwback Video From Dhak Dhak Sets

Actress and environmental activist Dia Mirza took a moment to reflect on her journey of conquering fears as she marked two years since a special moment from the sets of her motorcycle adventure film Dhak Dhak.
In her recent Instagram post, the former Miss Asia Pacific International shared a throwback video of herself on a motorcycle, captured on April 15, 2023, just months before the film’s release in October. “April 15th, 2023 🏍️,” Mirza wrote, adding, “The heart still goes #DhakDhak just watching this!!! What a feeling to overcome fear.”
In the video shared by Dia, she can be seen riding a motorcycle, capturing a moment from what appears to be the film’s shooting. The post serves as a reminder of her journey stepping out of her comfort zone for the role.
The actress also tagged her team members in the post, including Taapsee Pannu and Ritika Lahiri, expressing her gratitude with “Hello @ritika_lahiri 💗 @taapsee @dudeja_sahaab @pranjalnk @theoutsidersfilms and THANK YOU 🙏🏻🐋”.
‘Dhak Dhak’ follows the story of four women from different walks of life who embark on a motorcycle journey to the world’s highest motorable pass. Directed by Tarun Dudeja, the film stars Dia Mirza alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Sanjana Sanghi. Taapsee Pannu’s production house, Outsider Films, produced the movie in collaboration with BLM Pictures.
