International dancer and choreographer Lauren Gottlieb has announced the completion of a major music video project that has kept her away from social media for the past two weeks. The project, which she describes as “HUGE,” was choreographed at her favorite studio in Mumbai, BYOU.in.
In her latest Instagram post, Gottlieb shared her excitement about the upcoming release, although she noted that she cannot officially reveal what the project is for just yet. The post shows a behind-the-scenes image from what appears to be a professionally produced dance sequence.
“I haven’t posted in 2 weeks since this project took every breathing and sleeping moment to pull off,” Gottlieb wrote in her caption, emphasizing the intensive nature of the production. “My only regret is that I can’t officially announce what the project is for yet, but guys, IT’S HUGE!!!!!!! Will be worth the wait.”
The choreography was set at BYOU.in, which Gottlieb refers to as her favorite studio in Mumbai. The production involved a significant team effort, with Gottlieb expressing gratitude to her director, Roll_ing_shutter, describing their collaboration as “a beautiful collaboration of vision and efforts.”
Gottlieb also acknowledged her “right hand girl” and co-choreographer Anasua Chowdhury, along with her “star dancer cast” which includes Sneha Kadam, Vanshika Jangid, Ayushma, Dishita Dhanuka, Vaidehi Sawant, and Twinkle Dhaifule.
The post further mentions the efforts of her production team including Shruti Modi, Aatif Tida, Viren Arya, Iam Singhal, and Dot Media Base, with Gottlieb emotionally noting, “We sure made the impossible possible and HOW!!!”
She concluded by saying the project “took a village to create,” promising more details and acknowledgments once the video goes live.
This announcement comes on the heels of Gottlieb’s successful dance tour across India earlier this year. In March 2024, she conducted workshops in several cities including Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, as part of what she called “The Lauren Gottlieb Experience.”
In a recent post about her tour, Gottlieb expressed her emotional connection to India, writing, “India, I love you so much!!! That’s a wrap on my first India dance tour…and wow, I’m full! Full of gratitude, full of emotion, and full of love for every single moment with all my incredible dancers.”
Her tour featured workshops where she taught choreography to dance enthusiasts across the country. One memorable moment she shared was when the power went out during her Bangalore class, just minutes after she had told the participants about a similar incident during her IIFA performance.
With this latest project, Gottlieb continues to expand her impressive portfolio in India’s entertainment industry, promising fans something special in the upcoming music video release.
Fans will have to wait for the official announcement to learn more details about this mysterious “HUGE” project, but based on Gottlieb’s track record and enthusiasm, it’s likely to make waves in the dance and music video world when it drops.
