Mugdha Godse came into the spotlight as a model, securing the third position in the Femina Miss India competition in 2004. She made her acting debut in Madhur Bhandarkar’s critically acclaimed film “Fashion” (2008), where she portrayed a model named Janet Sequeira. Her performance earned her a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Female Debut.
Following her successful debut, Godse appeared in several Bollywood films including “All the Best: Fun Begins” (2009), “Jail” (2009), “Help” (2010), and “Heroine” (2012). She also participated in the reality television show “Khatron Ke Khiladi” in 2015.
Beyond Fashion: Spiritual Journey
Beyond her fashion and acting career, Mugdha has recently been exploring her spiritual side. In a post from earlier this year, she shared about singing a devotional bhajan titled “Krsna Vandana,” an original composition featuring 108 names and qualities of Lord Krishna. The post revealed that this spiritual journey began in 2013 when she was introduced to her guru, Shri Tarneiv ji, through her partner, actor Rahul Dev.
