In a recent Instagram post that has caught the attention of fans and industry insiders alike, international star Priyanka Chopra has yet again turned the spotlight on the new digital narrative titled Born Hungry, a documentary feature that follows the journey of celebrity chef Sash Simpson.
The Instagram caption reads, “The story is in the name… #BornHungry I can’t wait for you all to experience the journey of Sash Simpson. Now available in the US and UK on @amazonprime and #itunes.”
BornHungry is an inspiring true story of Sash Simpson, a young Indian boy from the streets of Chennai adopted by a Canadian family. The film premiered at the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival and featured at Toronto’s Hot Docs Film Festival.
Produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas‘ Purple Pebble Pictures and Barry Avrich‘s Melbar Entertainment Group, BornHungry was recently acquired by Tribeca Films.
