Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher has returned to social media after a two-week absence, explaining to fans that she had been away on professional duties. The “Ghoomer” star shared a heartfelt message with her followers on Instagram, expressing gratitude for their continued support.
In her latest Instagram post, Saiyami wrote: “Sorry, I’ve been away on duty for the past two weeks. Overwhelmed by all the love and messages—thank you. Always be honest, brave, and stand up for what is right. Love, Vijaya Laxshmi.”
The post featured an image of Saiyami looking directly at the camera, conveying sincerity in her message.
Saiyami Kher made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with “Mirzya” opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor. Born on June 29, 1992, she comes from a family with connections to Indian cinema—she is the granddaughter of actress Usha Kiran and niece of actresses Tanvi Azmi and Shabana Azmi.
Before entering films, Saiyami was a model and appeared in advertisements. She has steadily built her acting portfolio with roles in films like “Choked” (2020), directed by Anurag Kashyap, and the critically acclaimed “Ghoomer” (2023), where she played a cricketer. She has also appeared in web series including “Special OPS” and “Breathe: Into the Shadows.”
Beyond acting, Saiyami is known for her athletic achievements and passion for sports, particularly cricket and marathon running. She regularly participates in triathlons and has been training for the Ironman 70.3, a long-distance triathlon race.
While Saiyami hasn’t explicitly mentioned her current projects, her reference to being “on duty” suggests she may be filming for upcoming work. Her earlier mention of having “a packed 3 months at work” indicates a busy professional schedule ahead.
Fans will likely be watching closely for announcements about her next film or series projects, as well as updates on her Ironman training as she approaches the competition in approximately three months.
