The horror escalates in the sequel Chhorii 2, set to premiere on 11 April exclusively on Prime Video. Actress Soha Ali Khan shared an update on Instagram about Chhorii 2, confirming her role as the antagonist in the upcoming horror sequel, with Nushrratt Bharuccha reprising her role as Sakshi. The film, produced by T-Series and Tamarisk Lane, continues the suspenseful narrative of the original, with the tagline: “The shadows are darker, the terror is stronger – can Sakshi escape the nightmare this time?”.
In addition to Soha Ali Khan, the sequel will feature actors like Gashmeer Mahajani and Pallavi Patil. With the original ‘Chhorii’ earning praise for its plot inspired by the Marathi film ‘Lapachhapi’, the sequel aims to enhance the thematic reflections on societal issues intertwined with horror.
