Bollywood actress Sanjana Sanghi recently connected with students at Parul University during the Vadodara Film & Design Festival, sharing insights from her cinematic journey in what appears to have been a profoundly moving experience for both the actress and her audience.

The ‘Dil Bechara’ star took to Instagram to express her gratitude following the interactive session, where she found herself discussing aspects of her career journey she hadn’t previously shared publicly.

In her heartfelt post, Sanjana wrote: “In that beautiful, brimming campus, I found myself articulating nuances of my journey thus far that I’ve never quite believed anyone would be interested in listening to. And then as I saw you all filling in even the aisles of the auditorium, locked in, it just felt so complete.”

What made the session particularly special for Sanjana was the quality of questions from the students. She credited the audience for their “sensitive and thoughtful questions” that touched on various aspects of her career and philosophy. The actress was visibly moved by the students’ deep connection to her film characters, noting: “It makes my heart so full to see you guys talk about characters of my films like they’re your own. I really couldn’t ask for more.”

The event, organized as part of the Vadodara Film & Design Festival by IIMUN (India’s International Model to Unite Nations), provided a platform for meaningful exchange between rising stars and aspiring professionals in the creative fields.

For those unfamiliar with Sanjana Sanghi’s journey, the 28-year-old actress made her leading debut in 2020’s ‘Dil Bechara’ opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput. However, her association with Hindi cinema dates back to her childhood, having appeared in supporting roles in films like ‘Rockstar’ (2011), ‘Hindi Medium’ (2017), and ‘Fukrey Returns’ (2017).

Following her breakthrough in ‘Dil Bechara,’ Sanjana has continued to build her portfolio with films like ‘Rashtra Kavach Om’ (2022) alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, and more recently in ‘Dhak Dhak’ (2023), which featured an all-female lead cast.

Beyond her film work, Sanjana has been making waves in the fashion world. Earlier this month, she turned showstopper at Times Fashion Week for The Story brand, as seen in one of her recent Instagram posts, where she shared, “An absolute blast turning Showstopper at @timesfashionweek for @thestorybrand.in.”

She has also been featured on the cover of ELLE India’s Impact Issue, where she was recognized not only for her acting talent but also for her advocacy work in youth education and empowerment. The magazine described her rise as “nothing short of extraordinary” and highlighted her journey “from her early days as a child actor to becoming one of Bollywood’s most promising young stars.”

In March, the actress also participated in a special event celebrating Women in Entertainment with The Hollywood Reporter India, which she described as “food for the soul.” In her Instagram post about the event, she reflected: “Being an artist is a visceral experience in every way and I’m so grateful every day to experience the joy of crossing paths with women at work that are such dynamites.”

The session at Parul University aligns with Sanjana’s growing focus on youth engagement and empowerment, themes she has previously expressed interest in through her social media and public appearances.

As she continues to build her career both in front of the camera and as a public figure, sessions like the one in Vadodara demonstrate her commitment to sharing genuine experiences with younger audiences, particularly those interested in pursuing creative careers.
