Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar recently took a creative detour from her busy filming schedule by celebrating her birthday with an art therapy session at Devrai Art Village in Panchgani, Maharashtra.
The ‘Guilty Minds’ actress shared a series of pictures on Instagram showcasing her artistic adventure at the serene art center. In the photos, Shriya can be seen fully immersed in the painting process, working with vibrant blue hues on canvas against the backdrop of Panchgani’s natural beauty.
The carousel of images shows her engaged in the creative process, with close-ups of her artwork displaying abstract blue patterns reminiscent of ocean waves.
The actress revealed that the art session was a deliberate choice to help calm her mind during a particularly demanding work period. “It’s been a hectic shoot week, and I wanted to calm my chaotic mind with some stillness, and this was the best thing I could do for myself,” she wrote, highlighting how the creative process served as a form of therapy.
Shriya expressed how the experience brought her joy, adding: “Gave me so much joy to play with paint. Thank you so much for this wonderful workshop!”
The actress, who turned 35 this year, also enthusiastically recommended the art center to her followers, writing: “Highly recommend you’ll to visit this wonderful space when you’re in Panchgani.”
This art therapy session was part of Shriya’s extended birthday celebrations. Just a day earlier, she had shared another post thanking fans for their birthday wishes, revealing she brought in her special day “under the stars and in front of the camera.”
“Spent the day doing things I love – filming, painting, eating, and just soaking in all the love ♥️🌻,” she wrote in her birthday post, which included images of her celebrating on set with a cake and enjoying time with loved ones.
