Bollywood is abuzz as celebrated screenwriter Mushtaq Shiekh took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo tagging Sonam Bajwa and others, marking the official commencement of a much-anticipated film. The project, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and co-written by Shiekh himself, is already generating significant excitement within the industry and among fans.
In his post, Shiekh builds off of a recent Instagram post by director Anshul Garg, requesting suggestions from fans for the film’s title. “Keep the love intense- keep the love flowing! We are basking!” Shiekh wrote in his caption, adding, “Every title you suggesting is being considered- Keep dropping the titles in the comments for a ‘intense-very intense love story’ — we’re still hunting for the one!”
The film brings together a fresh and dynamic pairing in Sonam Bajwa and Harshvardhan Rane. It is produced by Anshul Garg, with Raghav Sharma as co-producer, and marks the debut cinematic venture of Desi Music Factory, a label previously renowned for its chart-topping music releases. The screenplay is a collaboration between Milap Zaveri, known for his emotionally charged narratives, and Mushtaq Shiekh, whose writing credentials include several Bollywood blockbusters.
The shooting officially began in Mumbai, as confirmed by a series of social media posts from the cast and crew. The production house shared an Instagram post featuring the film’s clapboard, accompanied by the caption: “After rocking the music charts it takes us great pride in announcing our first foray into the world of cinema! The film’s teaser, released alongside the announcement, features Sonam Bajwa’s evocative voiceover, hinting at a narrative centered on love, obsession, and defiance. This glimpse has already set social media abuzz, with fans eagerly anticipating the on-screen chemistry between Bajwa and Rane.
