Actress Suzanna Mukherjee has announced the cancellation of her family trip to Kashmir that was scheduled to begin this weekend. The decision comes in the wake of a tragic incident in the popular tourist destination of Pahalgam.

In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Mukherjee expressed her feelings about the difficult decision while showing empathy for those affected by the situation.

“As I thank my stars, while my family and I cancel our trip to Kashmir that was set to start this weekend 💔 My heart breaks for those unfortunate souls and the ones that are trapped forever dealing with this loss #alleyesonpahalgam,” Mukherjee wrote in her caption.

The decision comes just days after a devastating attack unfolded in the scenic Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam, in Jammu & Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

It was reported that four unidentified gunmen opened fire on a group of tourists, claiming the lives of many. The serious incident has resulted in significant distress to people in the area and all across the country.
