Filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, calling it an “undeclared war against India unleashed by Pakistan and enemies within our country.” In a forceful statement shared on his Instagram account, Pandit urged the central government to take decisive action against Pakistan following the deadly attack.
The Instagram post shows a somber message highlighting the gravity of the situation, with Pandit expressing his outrage over the attack and calling for severe consequences for those responsible.
In a separate post shared earlier, Pandit provided more specific information about the attack, stating that 26 people were killed and 17 were injured in Pahalgam. The filmmaker revealed disturbing details about how the attack was carried out, claiming that terrorists checked the identity cards of tourists and specifically targeted those confirmed to be Hindus.
“Identity cards of tourists in Pahalgam were checked and after confirming that they were Hindus, bullets were showered on them,” Pandit wrote in the earlier post. He compared this incident to previous attacks in Pulwama, Chatti Singhpora, and Nadimarg, suggesting a pattern of targeted violence against Hindu civilians.
The filmmaker emphasized that such attacks “are not possible without local support” and expressed shame over the situation. In his most recent post, he went further, stating it’s “high time the centre go all out and destroys Pakistan.”
