Acclaimed music composer and singer Shekhar Ravjiani recently took to Instagram to share a deeply emotional message in response to the tragic events unfolding in Kashmir. In the image, Ravjiani wrote: “Little children witnessing horrifying acts of terror… being scarred for life by the aftermath of a mindless outpouring of hatred… along with everything else, the death of innocence too… what a cruel, inhuman world we have brought them into… heartbroken and devastated thinking about the families annihilated by hate. How much more? 💔”
The post struck a chord with followers, many of whom echoed his sorrow and called for peace. Known for using his platform to speak on issues beyond music, Ravjiani’s post serves as a sobering reminder of the human cost of violence.

The song was officially released on April 11, 2025, after several teaser posts building anticipation among his followers. Ravjiani had shared multiple glimpses of the music video featuring model Krithika Babu, with captions like “Worlds change when eyes meet” and “Love at first sight. Ever happened to you?” – themes that appear to be central to the new release.
Musical Journey
For those unfamiliar with Shekhar Ravjiani, he forms one half of the successful Bollywood music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar. According to his Wikipedia profile, Ravjiani is an Indian playback singer, music director, actor, and television personality who has made significant contributions to Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil film music.
Beyond his film work, Ravjiani has been increasingly focused on independent music releases. His partnership with Vishal Dadlani has produced numerous hit songs for major Bollywood productions over the years.
Recently, the duo has been working on the musical stage adaptation of the iconic Bollywood film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.” Titled “Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical,” the production is set to premiere in Manchester and features music composed by Vishal-Shekhar with book and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. The musical is directed by Aditya Chopra, who also directed the original film.
