Indian singer-songwriter Armaan Malik delivered a high-energy performance at a sold-out show at Indigo at The O2 in London on April 13. The singer shared his excitement on Instagram, posting a video clip of himself performing on stage with the caption: “Played a sold out show last night in London at @indigoattheo2 insane love and energy!!! Love you guys so much.” The video shows Malik performing on stage in front of an enthusiastic crowd, capturing the joyous atmosphere of the concert.
The London concert was part of Malik’s UK tour, which began with a performance at De Montfort Hall in Leicester on April 12. The tour generated significant excitement among his UK fanbase, with Malik building anticipation through several social media posts in the weeks leading up to the shows.
The London performance marked a significant milestone for Malik, who had been eagerly anticipating his return to the UK. In a previous post from April 11, Malik had shared his excitement about the sold-out status of the London show, writing: “smiling like crazy coz we just SOLD OUT the LONDON show!” This performance was especially meaningful as it came after an eight-year absence from performing in the city, as he had noted in an earlier announcement: “Hey LONDON, I’ll be playing a very special show on the 13th April in your beautiful city at @indigoattheo2 and I absolutely cannot wait to sing with you after 8 whole years!”
Armaan Malik has established himself as one of India’s leading singers and has a growing international presence. Born into a musical family—his father Daboo Malik is a composer and his brother Amaal Mallik is a music director—Armaan has built his own distinct identity in the industry. At just 29 years old, Malik has already achieved significant milestones in his career. He began his journey in the entertainment industry as a child artist, participating in singing reality shows. His breakthrough came with playback singing for Bollywood films, which eventually led to opportunities for solo performances and international collaborations.
Over the years, Malik has expanded his reach beyond Indian audiences. In 2020, he won the Best Indian Act award at the MTV Europe Music Awards for his English-language single ‘Control’. He has also collaborated with various international artists and continues to build his global fanbase through tours like his recent UK performances.
